Hold the presses!

Holy smokes! The ‘Panda blog is a whole year old! Last week’s post about the Sock (and yes, we’re still Not Discussing those things which were enumerated) marked the one year anniversary of the blog. I feel like I should get presents!

Okay, I suppose we could go about doing this the hobbit way, and you can get a present. …I’m just not sure what it will be since I’m not at home right now and can’t scour my stash easily.

SO. To be considered for a Mystery Prize (sounds better and more enticing if I capitalize, see), leave a comment here letting me know which post over the last year you enjoyed reading the best. I’ll use a fancy random number generator in about a week or so and one lucky blogreader will win… something.

I should really plan better for next year. Include streamers or something. Pin the yarn on the panda? That sounds painful.

  1. Happy 1 year anniversary!

My favorite is.. hmm.. I’m going to go with the first one that came to mind- which is your year of natural fibers post. (I distinctly remember a picture of a sheep vs a puddle of goo. That goo stuck in my mind.)

  2. Oooh, I liked your post about domesticity and being modern. You still have to let me borrow that book. Maybe it will sort out the constant battle in my head between the two. Happy Birthday Blog!

  3. I really like the post titled “A Debut” because it made me exciting to try sock knitting. I first read it when I was still making things on large needles. Still haven’t made socks yet, but I know where to look for inspiration.

    Congrats on the blogaversary.

  4. I haven’t been reading your blog for so long, although I did back-track to the beginning of certain knitting ‘sagas’.
I love your pictures and the one that made me gasp with pleasure was the pic of your Bandelier sock. Gorgeous! I could gaze at it all day.

  5. Happy blogiversary!

I enjoyed reading your ‘A Debut’ post – it’s always nice to see people’s successes.

  6. I really loved your ‘A long time coming’ post in which you finish a WIP that had been haunting you for a couple of years. The blanket is pretty, and your gorgeous cat’s expression is hilarious!

  7. Ooh I thought I already commented on this to enter the draw-ring! But my favourite was the one where you showed all the different variations on the Owls sweater – it inspired me to make one someday! ^_^
