Kickstart: Choose your own adventure

I’ve had this window open for a few hours now, and I just can’t come up with anything I want to mention here. Mojo is a no-go right now in most aspects of real life (unless you count an unyielding desire to watch The Avengers multiple times in one day, which could get kind of pricey). Sorry to be a downer, but there it is.

So I turn to you, my friendly readers. What’s getting you going this week? What’s new in your world?

  1. I’m finding it hard myself to get motivated to do anything too. I don’t know if it’s the unusually hot weather that we’ve been having or what, but I just find myself way too exhausted to do…stuff. I would like to blame it on my kiddo, since lately his energy has skyrocketed through the roof! The only thing I can really accomplish lately is mindless stockinette knitting. Luckily that’s what the Buckwheat pattern is all about! Hopefully this week I’ll find some form of willpower to get off my butt!

    • I can’t even get motivated to knit my sleeve swatch of Folded, and it’s stockinette in the round. This is crazy times, my friend. Crazy times. And I don’t even have the added fun of a young’un to steal my energy, I just can’t do.

  2. As a teacher, I have to admit that I’m psyched by the fact that there are only 3 Mondays left in this school year. Not that I don’t love my job and my students, but the school year is pretty intense. I’m looking forward to more crafting time!

    • That is completely and totally an awesome thing–both my parents are teachers, and I was a substitute for a little while, so I feel you.
